This event accompanying the exhibition When the Future Ended is held during two days, with eleven artists screening their 14 major video works and engaging in conversations with the public.

This serves as an opportunity to appreciate the works of the young artists, recommended by the six senior artists – Gimhongsok, Park Chan-kyong, Kyuchul Ahn, Inhwan Oh, Seoyoung Chung, and Yeondoo Jung – and further reads each artist’s thought and perspective on the individual and society as the young generation living today.

본 아티스트 토크 및 스크리닝은 ‹미래가 끝났을 때›전과 연계하여 양일에 걸쳐 참여 작가 11인의 주요 영상작품 14편을 상영하고, 이어서 작가와의 대화 시간을 갖는다.

여섯 명의 선배 작가들(김홍석, 박찬경, 안규철, 오인환, 정서영, 정연두)의 추천을 받은 주목할 만한 젊은 작가 열한 명의 다양한 영상작품들을 접해보고, 나아가 기성 세대가 축적해놓은 시간 위에서 오늘을 살고 있는 젊은 세대로서 개인과 사회 그리고 시대에 대한 그들의 시선과 생각을 읽어볼 수 있는 기회가 될 것이다.

 

아티스트 토크는 한국어로 진행되며, 참여 신청은 아트선재센터 홈페이지에서 가능합니다.
